Kerri Rademeyer

Kerri’s interest in wildlife photography started a couple of years ago. Working as a Safari Guide in one of the most beautiful and abundant National Parks in Africa provides so many opportunities for amazing and interesting shots, it seemed a shame to pass them up!

Born in Zimbabwe, Kerri has lived in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park for the past 7 years. During the short dry season from May to October she has been stationed at a bush camp in the Nsefu Sector of the Park, taking guests on driving and/or walking safaris — always with a camera close at hand. Previously Kerri was a guide at Nsefu Camp, but this year she will be Manager and Guide at Tena Tena Bush Camp in Nsefu Sector.

During the off-season Kerri and her colleague Deb Tittle run Guide Training Courses, (and hopefully will soon set up their own school), where local Guides for the various Operators in South Luangwa are trained for the Safari Guides exam, which they also oversee. This work gives her added opportunities to get out into the bush, increase her own knowledge and take photo’s during a different, (greener), season.
